Shipping your item(s) to PreLoved Tech

How do I send my item(s) to you?

Once you have submitted your online sale request you will receive a confirmation email providing details on how to ship your item(s) to us. If you have requested a free postage pack this will contain a shipping guide, shipping bag (for mobile phones, watches & Tablets) and a printed pre-paid royal mail tracked 48 returns label. For larger items such as laptops and consoles, your postage pack will include the shipping guide and printed pre-paid postage label.

If you have selected to create your pre-paid label at home, your confirmation email will contain a link to the royal mail portal to create your free tracked 48 postage label.

The royal mail tracked 48 returns service will insure your item up to £100 and is free of charge to you.

Once you have packaged up your item(s), just drop it into any Royal Mail Post Office. You will be given a proof of postage receipt as proof of your drop off which will also contain your tracking number enabling you to track your parcel. Please retain this receipt until your order is completed, it will be required in the case of any claim for lost or damaged in transit items.

If your item(s) are valued above £100, it is recommended you use an alternative service to ship your items to us. If you are using another shipping service, please ensure you send your parcel to the address below, and be sure to include your order number :

How should I package my item(s) ready to post?

Please ensure all items sent to PreLoved Tech are packaged as securely as possible to protect them from damage in transit. We need you to insert the battery into the device and ensure it is switched off before packaging up. You should use appropriate packaging to protect the item(s) fully. If the original box is available this would be ideal, but if not please use any appropriately sized cardboard box to send in your device. Please ensure you wrap items inside the box with appropriate packaging such as bubble wrap and any empty space within the box is filled to prevent movement as much as possible and to prevent the item from accidentally being switched on in transit.  You will be provided with an order reference number, please ensure this is clearly visible on the packaging. Always secure your package using good quality tape to prevent it from coming open in transit.

Finally, securely attach your shipping label to your package. Please ensure it is clearly visible, contains your order number and is unobstructed. Please also include your return address on the reverse of your package.

Do I need to include any chargers or accessories?

For Mobile Phones and Tablets, it is not necessary for you to include a charger or accessories with your device. However, if you do wish to include them in the package this is also ok. 

All watches sent in must include their strap and where possible their charge cable to secure the full valuation.

When sending in laptops we do require the charger to be sent in with the device. It is important for you to include the power adapter/charger to secure the full valuation.

When sending in consoles we do require the power adapter and controller to be sent in with the device. It is important for you to include these items to secure the full valuation.

Do I need to include a SIM or Memory Card with my mobile phone?

We require only the handset to be sent to us. Please do not send any SIM cards or memory cards to us, we will be unable to return these to you. We accept no liability for any charges incurred as a result of SIM cards being sent in with the device and you will continue to be responsible for all such charges.
